Comprehensive coverage includes any cause of loss except collision or overturn. It is frequently compared to “all risks” or “special cause of loss” coverage since anything not excluded (like collision) is covered.
1. Fire, lightning or explosion;
2. Theft;
3. Windstorm, hail or earthquake;
4. Flood;
5. Mischief or vandalism;
6. Sinking, burning, collision or derailment of any transporting conveyance.
Collision coverage includes just two causes of loss: collision with another object or overturn.
